Sean J. Corrigan, MBA, CTP, CertICM

Sean founded GlobalNau Solutions to help financial institutions and organizations improve the quality of their salesforce through coaching and enablement, strengthen financial supply chains, optimize financial operations, and communicate more effectively.   

A seasoned global sales and commercial strategy executive, Sean brings deep experience transforming revenue organizations, accelerating top-line growth, and expanding into new domestic and international markets. He has held senior leadership roles at several of the world’s largest financial institutions and fintech platforms.

Prior to founding GlobalNau, Sean led the scaling of a $50 billion financial services firm’s domestic treasury, commercial card, and international payments businesses, overseeing go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and pricing modernization in advance of a transformational acquisition that doubled the bank’s size.

Previously, he co-led the Asia region for Wells Fargo N.A. as Deputy Head of Global Receivables and Trade Finance. Based in Tokyo, he oversaw regional sales, communications, and strategic execution for trade and supply chain finance across Asia. In parallel, he served in regional governance capacities as Asia Sustainable Finance Executive and as a member of the Tokyo Branch Management Committee.

Previously, Sean served as Global Head of Strategic Trade Payment Solutions, leading multinational, multifunctional teams across sales, technology integration, supply chain finance, supplier engagement, and working capital optimization. He also chaired Wells Fargo’s Trade Advisory Council, a senior client–bank forum addressing trade payment trends, global commerce, and product innovation.

Earlier, he founded Wells Fargo’s Southeast market for Global Treasury Management sales, and later launched the firm’s Commercial Card and e-Payments team in the Eastern United States, establishing its national supplier analysis and onboarding capabilities. Prior to Wells Fargo, he was Managing Director of Banking Relationships at a fintech company later acquired by JPMorgan Chase, and he began his career in corporate banking at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh.

Sean is committed to developing future business leaders. He has served on the Board of the Japan America Society of Georgia, taught in the UNC Kenan-Flagler Executive Treasury Management Program, and guest lectured at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson Graduate School of Business and Duquesne University’s John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business. He has also spoken at conferences hosted by the Association for Financial Professionals, the National Association of Credit Management, Global Trade Review, and China Merchants Bank.

In addition to developing and editing client-facing content for major financial institutions, Sean is an experienced terrestrial and underwater photographer. His photography has appeared in outlets including Hearst Media, InTouch Magazine, Scuba Diving Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine, and Roundel. He is also a published writer, with work featured by Hearst Media and highlighted on Digg.
